I have no idea where I came across the band Inflatable Boy Clams and, frankly, I don’t know a thing about them. Though AllMusic has no record of their existence (guess it should be SomeMusic), thankfully Google leads to “an ongoing research project” dedicated to uncovering all available info about this early 80s San Fransisco project.

Looking at the “Players” page, I can’t help but find myself intrigued by Carol. And it’s not because she’s defiantly being photographed in her black bra:

According to Richard Marriott, she used to hang out at Club Foot in ‘82:

Carol hung out at the Club Foot in ‘82, which is when I knew her. I don’t remember much except that she was nice. She had played drums on the album CLUB FOOT which was recorded in 1980. ( you must know that album, yes?) those other characters from that session might know more: JC Garrett, Ron Morgan, Matt Heckert, Dog, Cindy Buff, the brilliant Opter Flame, Amanda Night, the crowd from the Japanese Weekend design shop. I hope they’re still alive..

Apparently Rodney on the Roq played their record on his radio show a bit around Halloween in 1981.
